It would be really clear, if typing in the IP still meant it was broke (because it would be a sure-fire way to make the browser always come up as broke) ... but to make it work?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I guess the only thing I can think of, is that it's like people on TV and movies using a '555' phone number ... The first number cannot be a 0, and you do not pad the nunbers to 3 disigts as they did.
