Calling them immigrants only re-enforces the myth that the "belong" here. I think that the decision to call them immigrants instead of aliens was one that many people made intentionally to help further the idea that they are OK here. Please stop playing into that and call them what they are illegal aliens. The cute alliteration of "illegal immigrant" causes people to forget that we are talking about people who have already, and everyday continue to, break federal law.K4Thu, 04 Oct 2007 09:18:20 -0000
