We will mourn the loss of something until we are to wrapped up in our daily lives to care. The first few years after the Oklahoma Bombing there was constant rememberance and prayer services, the park buil in rememberance is rarely mentioned. The first two years after 911 it was a big hype this past september I don't remember it being mentioned at least not in any major capacity. Even the world war II monument was a big deal when they were trying to raise money, but now that the have the money you never hear anything about the progress, hell I'm not even sure they finished building the thing. MSM's idea of "journalism" is a joke nowadays. Gone, it seems, are the days when the news companies and network news departments were in it to report news. The name of the game is ratings, which means the name of the game is money. They're telling us what (they think) we want to hear, so their ratings will go up.

-- Pauley

Re: Freedom Tower: forgotten already?

Rush Limbaugh turning himself into authorites was a much more entertaining story. What, you think mainstream media has anything to do with "journalism" anymore? You wonder why I really don't want to work in the field anymore.
